Commitment Level

Swimming is the athlete’s primary sport. Commit to 4/5/6 sessions a week, competing in all championship meets they qualify for, displaying a positive attitude at all times and stepping up the focus & skill level in training. The athlete must know the proper way to do sets with different intervals. Moving into BAGCAT’s should be viewed as a serious move that the swimmer & their family make with the intention of becoming the best swimmer they can become. Swimmers unwilling or unable to make this level of commitment are expected to move to Competition. This policy is in place not to exclude athletes but in the best interest of the child. Swimmers are expected to enter all Championship events that they qualify for (Devon’s, Western’s) in conjunction with their coach’s wishes A detailed log book of all sessions must be completed.
